When the Converse Star Player first got tagged with the CONS' label, it was in 2011 as applied to a skateboarding release. Since then, we've seen CONS shift from its skate focus to more of a collection of recent heritage models, which is more how it's being presented in this newest drop. These CONS Star Player Canvas lowtops get back to basics with one color plus white on the sole, and you have six different choices, converse all star two of which add subtle contrasts to the Star/Chevron branding. The Converse Weapon has gone through all sorts of remixes already this year. Perhaps the most drastic of them is the Converse CONS Weapon Skate , which transforms the shoe into a more street-ready model. This interpretation of the shoe is the latest in a long line of basketball shoes appropriated for skate purposes, this one featuring the drop-in Lunarlon sockliner, perforated memory foam, and other bits of tech that help make them more appropriate for that activity. See skater Zered Bassett going to work in them around NYC in the clip below and get yours at Converse now.

The sneaker comes equipped with a drop-in Lunarlon sockliner that provides cushioning, perforated memory foam and a gusseted tongue construction. There have been heathered pairs, short cut skate versions , and more, but don't worry a more traditional run of pairs is also in the mix. Gathered here are those, which are all leather as far as the uppers are concerned and each come in a pretty bold color mixture.
